Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Nairobi drive to Lake Nakuru National Park

Hot breakfast at your hotel. Check out and drive through the excellent Rift Valley environment towards Nakuru. Drive through the park and arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. Have an afternoon game go at Lake Nakuru National Park. Nakuru is a small park with over 50% of its area covered by the Lake. In the middle of the Rift valley, Lake Nakuru has a wide variety of animals, including the Rothschild Giraffe, Lions, White ad Black rhinos and Leopards. All these can be spotted depending on your luck. Birdwatchers also consider the park an ornithological paradise! A myriad of both Greater and lesser flamingoes has made this lake their home. Meals and overnight at The cliff.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru drive to Masai Mara national reserve

After breakfast at the lodge, head southwards to Maasai Mara National Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch, and relax. Have an afternoon game drive in reserve. An exploratory drive around the 1,792 sq. km game park with its low hills and savannah-type rolling grasslands, gallery forest on the Mara River, and its tributaries. Get introduced to the herbivores; elephant, rhino, buffalo, various antelopes, the Masai giraffe, and the Burchell zebra. The carnivores are the black mane lion, cheetah, and leopard. Also seen are the giant bird, the Masai ostrich, the Secretary bird, the crested crane, and the saddle-bill stork. Crocodiles and hippos share the river. Return to your lodge by sunset—dinner and overnight at Ashnil Mara luxury camp.

Day 3: Full day in Masai Mara

Optional early morning balloon safari ride across the Maasai Mara plain. Breakfast at the lodge then enjoys morning and afternoon game drives. Masai Mara is an extension of the Serengeti ecosystem to the south. The game abounds here. The Mara is noted for its abundance of lions, particularly the superb black-maned males. There great Migration of over 1.5 million wildebeest and other antelopes crossing the mighty Mara River. You are also likely to see many elephants here, often in large herds and, if you're lucky, leopards, cheetahs, and rhinos. All of the Big Five are residents. You're sure to see the African buffalo—dinner and overnight at Ashnil Mara luxury camp.

Day 4: Masai Mara fly to Serengeti National Park

Wake up early for breakfast, followed by a short game drive heading to the airstrip for the flight to Serengeti. The flight from the Mara will drop you off at the Migori Airstrip, where you will be picked up for a 30-minute road transfer to the border point for immigration and customs procedures. Another 30-minute transfer follows, taking you to Tarime Airstrip for the flight into Serengeti. You arrive at Serengeti and enjoy a short safari on the way to Kubukubu tented lodge.

Day 5: Full day in Serengeti National Park

During these two full days, you will explore central Serengeti with Morning and afternoon game drives. After breakfast, leave at your lodge with package lunch (or have lunch at the lodge), have a game drive in the park and arrive at your lodge in the late afternoon or on your request. Tanzania's Serengeti offers superb game-viewing even out of migration time, when vast herds of buffalo, eland, topi, waterbuck, impala, kongoni, and Grant’s gazelle can be seen grazing in the thousands. The Serengeti is famous for its migrating wildebeest and herbivores and its high concentration of big cats and other predators that these grazers attract. The Serengeti is also home to smaller cats, such as the caracal and serval, jackal, fox, mongoose, and Gen. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Kubu Kubu tented lodge.

Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro crater

Today enjoy a half-day game drive in Serengeti, have a picnic or lunch at the lodge, and then depart to Ngorongoro crater, where you will arrive in the late afternoon. The crater walls are 2,000 ft high, and a crater floor spreads for 102 sq. miles; the crater is a virtual Noah's Ark, inhabited by almost every species of wildlife indigenous to East Africa, including the rare black rhino. The crater has the greatest concentration of wildlife on the planet. It contains a river, several swamps, a soda lake that, from the top, looks like steam, full of flamingoes, a forest, and open plains. The giant bull elephants that reside here have huge tusks due to the rich mineral content of the volcanic soil and its grasses. They are the most incredible elephants you'll ever see in your life—all meals and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge.

Day 7: Full-day Ngorongoro crater game drive

You will have breakfast at the lodge. Explore the conservancy with morning and afternoon game drives and a visit to the crater. With walls 2,000 ft high and a crater floor that spreads for 102 sq. miles, the crater is a virtual Noah's Ark, inhabited by almost every species of wildlife indigenous to East Africa, including the rare black rhino. The crater has the greatest concentration of wildlife on the planet. It contains a river, several swamps, a soda lake that, from the top, looks like steam, full of flamingoes, a forest, and open plains. Day 8: Ngorongoro crater to Lake Manyara National Park

Drive to Lake Manyara national park for a game drive; Lake Manyara is a shallow freshwater lake in Tanzania. It is said to be the “loveliest lake in Africa; lake Manyara covers 127 square miles (329 km2) of lake Manyara national park, and the lake’s alkaline waters cover approximately 89 square miles (231 km2). It is famous for many baboons and birdlife; also home to herbivores such as hippos, impalas, elephants, wildebeests, buffalo, warthogs, giraffes, giant fig trees, and mahogany seen in the groundwater forest immediately around the park gates. Stay overnight at the Lake Manyara Serena Lodge.

Day 9: Lake Manyara drive to Amboseli National Park via the Namanga border

Have an early morning breakfast. Check out and drive (packed lunch) to Amboseli via Arusha. Upon arrival at Namanga (border of Kenya & Tanzania). You will clear with immigration and later exchange the vehicle. You will arrive at the park in the late afternoon. Check-in and relax, awaiting your dinner. All meals and overnight at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 10: Full day in Amboseli national park

Full-day exploration of the park. After breakfast, depart to the morning game drive. You are transferred to your lodge for lunch at leisure. Embark to an afternoon game drive. Later you will return to the lodge for dinner. You will be able to see the peak of Mt Kilimanjaro, the Big 5’s and more than 400 bird species.

Day 11: Amboseli National Park to Nairobi

Enjoy your morning breakfast in the hotel. Depart to Nairobi, where you will be transferred to the airport for your home flight.
